My name is Alif. I’m a cinematographer by profession, and a storyteller by instinct. I grew up in a world where evenings were spent gathered around the elders, listening to tales that felt like magic. Those stories stirred something in me — I’d reimagine them, relive them, and now, I share them.
Qisse Kahaniyaan is my attempt to bring you those echoes of the past — memories spun into stories, laced with emotion, and brought to life through sound. Because stories are all around us — unfolding quietly in everyday moments.
We live them, we witness them, and sometimes, we carry them forward. As time passes, we all become a story to someone else. Each episode is an ode to nostalgia — a journey into the tender, timeless corners of our hearts.
In this heartfelt tale, we’re transported to a time when love was shy, scribbled in margins, and passed in folded notes. Set in the snow-kissed valleys of Kashmir, it’s a story of innocent beginnings — of two young hearts brought together by tuitions and torn apart by time.
But destiny has its own plans.
