I last met Akshay Kumar in 2024 during a media junket in Jordan, where he was shooting for a film. He was meeting journalists one by one — and even taking selfies with them. When it was my turn, he smiled and said, "Aise lag raha hai jaise mera wedding reception hai" (It feels like I'm at my wedding reception). His comment set a light-hearted tone for our interaction.

I've always admired Akshay's honesty, humour, and ease in conversations. And so, I am excited to catch up with him again this coming Wednesday to talk about his new film Sky Force! Akshay and his co-actor Veer Pahariya will be in conversation with me about their highly anticipated action drama based on India's historic airstrike during the 1965 war.
